Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has introduced two new feature phones in India, the HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music. These devices are now available in various color choices and come equipped with a 2,500mAh battery, which is touted to support up to 50 hours of music playback on a single charge. The phones also feature UPI payment functionalities and 2.4-inch QVGA displays. These models were first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.
Pricing of HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music in India
The HMD 130 Music is available for Rs. 1,899, while the HMD 150 Music is priced at Rs. 2,399. The HMD 130 Music can be found in Blue, Dark Grey, and Red options, whereas the HMD 150 Music is offered in Light Blue, Purple, and Grey. Both models can be purchased through retail outlets, online platforms, and the official HMD website.
Specifications of HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music
Both the HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music operate on the S30+ OS and feature a 2.4-inch QVGA display. Each device includes 8MB of RAM and 8MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Notably, both phones come with built-in UPI payment options, with the HMD 150 Music offering a scan and pay feature for ease of digital transactions.
For connectivity, these new feature phones provide Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, they support FM radio with the capability for both wired and wireless modes and include an MP3 player. Each model features dedicated music buttons and is equipped with a speaker boasting 2W audio output, along with FM recording functionality.
The devices are powered by a removable 2,500mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 50 hours of music playback and a standby time of up to 36 days. The HMD 130 Music also includes dual LED flash support. HMD is offering a one-year replacement guarantee on both phones, which hold an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
At the launch event for the new feature phones, HMD announced the continuation of its partnership with the Rajasthan Royals as the official smartphone partner for IPL 2025.
