The Google Pixel 10 series is anticipated to make its debut later this year, potentially featuring models such as the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, a 10 Pro XL, and a 10 Pro Fold. Recent leaks have circulated regarding these devices, and a new report has emerged detailing the expected color schemes for the lineup. According to the findings, Google may opt to retire classic hues like Obsidian and Porcelain, which have been staples since the Pixel 7 series. Additionally, recent information has hinted at some of the key features users can expect from the upcoming smartphones.
Expected Color Options for Google Pixel 10 Series
The standard Google Pixel 10 is reported to be available in a selection of colours including Iris, Limoncello, Midnight, and Ultra Blue, as detailed by Android Headlines. The Iris shade is expected to resemble the color of the Pixel 9a. The Midnight variant is likely to present a dark gray option, while the Ultra Blue might deliver a vibrant royal blue tone. Limoncello is anticipated to be a mid-tone colour.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are believed to be offered in Light Porcelain, Midnight, Smoky Green, and Sterling Grey. Notably, Sterling Grey is suggested to be a lighter variant than the aforementioned Midnight hue, and the Light Porcelain will present a more off-white appearance compared to the existing Porcelain option. Smoky Green is expected to showcase a darker green shade.
In terms of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, reports indicate that it will be available solely in Smoky Green and Sterling Grey.
Currently, the base Pixel 9 is available in Peony, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Wintergreen, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL offer colourways in Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz, and Obsidian. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold was also launched in Obsidian and Porcelain shades.
If the report is accurate, it seems that Google will be replacing the existing Obsidian and Porcelain hues with Midnight and Light Porcelain for the Pixel 10 series. The tech giant, based in Mountain View, is speculated to announce the new lineup on August 20 during its annual Made by Google event, according to a recent report.
