Next month, Netflix will discontinue access to more than 20 games, including popular titles such as Hades and the Monument Valley trilogy, from its gaming subscription service. Most of these mobile games will be unavailable starting July 15 in India, whereas the roguelike action game Hades will be removed earlier on July 2. This change signifies a significant reduction in the available titles within the Netflix Games library for mobile devices. All games in the service can be played at no additional cost by Netflix subscribers using iOS, iPadOS, or Android devices.
Upcoming Removals from Netflix Games
The news was initially shared by What’s on Netflix on Monday and was later verified through the Netflix app. The app indicates that 22 games, which include Hades and the full Monument Valley series, have been marked with a ‘Leaving Soon’ notice.

Current Landscape of Netflix Games
The library of Netflix Games has grown to encompass over 120 mobile titles, accessible via the Netflix app and downloadable from the App Store or Play Store. All games are free of advertisements and in-app purchases.
Hades was integrated into Netflix Games for iOS in March of the previous year. Initially released on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac in 2020, the acclaimed title also made its way to PlayStation and Xbox platforms a year later.
Netflix has aimed to feature significant titles such as Hades and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition within its gaming subscription. While Grand Theft Auto has reportedly achieved over 30 million downloads, the performance metrics of other games on the platform remain ambiguous.
In October of last year, Netflix closed one of its triple-A gaming studios, Blue, which was said to be developing an original title.
