This summer, viewers will also find NASA Plus’ live programming accessible on Netflix without any advertisements.
The live programming on NASA Plus includes thrilling events such as “astronaut spacewalks, mission coverage, and stunning live broadcasts of Earth as seen from the International Space Station.” While a Netflix subscription is necessary to access the platform, the addition of NASA Plus content will not come with any extra charges.
NASA emphasizes that this collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility of its scientific and exploratory missions. The goal is to engage and inspire a global audience, leveraging Netflix’s extensive reach of over 700 million subscribers.
Importantly, the partnership with Netflix will not compromise the availability of NASA Plus content elsewhere. The service will remain freely accessible via the agency’s official website and the NASA app, which is available on various platforms including iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV.
