Elon Musk has announced via social media that his anticipated cage match against Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, will be live-streamed on the platform X, previously known as Twitter.
Since June, the tech titans have been fueling speculation about a potential mixed martial arts duel set to take place in Las Vegas.
Musk shared on X early Sunday, “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” although he did not provide additional specifics regarding the event.

In response to a user’s inquiry regarding the purpose of the match, Musk commented, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
Meta has yet to respond to a request for comment from Reuters regarding Musk’s announcement.
The spirited exchange began when Musk posted on June 20, expressing his willingness to engage in a cage match with Zuckerberg, who is experienced in jiujitsu.
The following day, Zuckerberg, 39, who has shared images of his recent victories on Instagram, urged Musk to “send location” for the proposed fight. Musk suggested “Vegas Octagon,” referring to the venue where numerous mixed martial arts championships take place.
Musk then indicated that he would commence training if the details for the fight were finalized.
