Motorola has announced the launch date for the Edge 60 in India, along with details about its available color options and RAM and storage configurations. This smartphone is part of the new Edge series and originally made its debut in select global markets in April, alongside the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. The Indian variant will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, whereas the global version utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. The device features a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
According to a banner on its Indian website, Motorola is set to launch the Motorola Edge 60 on June 10. It will be available in two color options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock. The smartphone will come in a single configuration of 12GB RAM paired with 256GB of storage.
In contrast, the global version of the Motorola Edge 60 was released in additional color shades, including Pantone Plum Perfect alongside the previously mentioned options.
Motorola Edge 60 Specifications
The specifications of the Motorola Edge 60 have been revealed through a listing on the company’s official website. It runs on Hello UI, which is based on Android 15, and features a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The Indian variant will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, while the global version has a Dimensity 7300 SoC.
On the camera front, the Motorola Edge 60 includes a triple camera system on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera that utilizes the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. For selfies and video calls, it features a 50-megapixel front camera. The device is expected to achieve IP68 and IP69 certifications and is equipped with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
The Indian variant of the Motorola Edge 60 is also confirmed to include a robust 5,500mAh battery, which supports 68W TurboPower fast charging. In comparison, the global version comes with a slightly smaller 5,200mAh battery but retains the same fast charging capability.
While the specific pricing details for the Motorola Edge 60 in India have yet to be disclosed, it was launched in Europe at a price of GBP 379, which is approximately Rs. 43,000.
