New Maps
Season 3 introduces six new 6v6 multiplayer maps, with three entirely new settings. Four maps—Emergency, 6 Star, Tanked, and Growhouse—are currently available, while the remaining two, Grime and Checkpoint, will be incorporated in a forthcoming mid-season update.
New Modes
Four new multiplayer modes are being added this season, with two—Capture the Flag and One in the Chamber—available at launch. The Minefield and Escort modes will be introduced later in the mid-season update. The developers have hinted at additional modes to follow later in the season.
New Weapons
The update includes a fresh Battle Pass progression system which unlocks four new base weapons. The lineup features the compact SMG FJX Horus, the MORS sniper rifle, the Gladiator knife, and the BAL-27 bullpup assault rifle, with the latter two becoming available later in the season. Notably, the MORS and BAL-27 make their return from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Additionally, players will have access to eight new aftermarket parts for weapon customization.
New Perks and Equipment
Season 3 enhances gameplay variety with new perks and equipment suited to diverse play styles. Among the new perks is the Compression Carrier (Vest), which assists in healing and provides gas protection; the Modular Assault Rig (Vest), designed for scavengers; and the Gunslinger Vest, tailored for secondary weapon specialists. New Reinforced Boots grant immunity to movement reduction effects, while the High-Gain Antenna (Gear) enlarges the mini-map view for players and their nearby allies.
Upcoming mid-season updates will introduce two new pieces of equipment: the EMD Mine, a sticky mine equipped with proximity sensors that reveals enemy locations until deactivated, and Enhanced Vision Goggles that highlight enemy targets.
Warzone
The Rebirth Island map returns to Warzone with new destructible environments, enhancing the gameplay experience. The battle royale mode will also feature a new Warzone Bootcamp mode, allowing players to refine their skills and strategies against both bots and other players. Additionally, the Rebirth Resurgence mode makes a comeback, enabling players to redeploy for a limited time if one of their teammates remains alive.
