Meta India Partnerships Head Manish Chopra Resigns

Manish Chopra, the Director and Head of Partnerships at Meta in India, has announced his departure from the company in a post on LinkedIn. Chopra, who joined the organization in January 2019, has played a pivotal role in enhancing partnerships across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

On Tuesday, Chopra disclosed his resignation through a LinkedIn message, indicating that he would assist in the transition process over the coming weeks.

In his statement, Chopra expressed gratitude for the opportunities he received at Meta, highlighting the collaborative efforts that took place during his tenure. He stated, “I am grateful to the company for trusting me with building out our efforts to drive growth and engagement across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. I am super proud of the work the team and I have done to become an ally for creators and businesses around the country. My heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you!”

Reflecting on his 4.5 years at the company, Chopra said, “It’s been an incredible journey leading Meta Partnerships in India!” He added that while he is stepping down, he will be available to support the transition process.

Chopra acknowledged the challenging times faced by the tech industry and the company itself in recent months. He praised his team for their dedication and resilience, saying, “The recent months have been trying times for everyone in so many ways. I know this team has shown so much care and has helped each other selflessly. At so many moments, I have seen folks embody ‘what would you do, if you were not afraid’, and surpass our wildest dreams.”

As for his future plans, Chopra mentioned that he would share more information about his next steps in due course.
