Sony has unveiled the lineup of games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in March. Beginning March 19, subscribers to the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers can look forward to a host of titles, including the popular basketball simulation NBA 2K24, the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and the survival horror game Resident Evil 3, among others. This new selection follows the announcement of free games for March, available to all PS Plus members, made by Sony in late February.
A recent post on the PlayStation Blog detailed the games being added to the Game Catalog this month. Leading this lineup is NBA 2K24, which aims to provide basketball enthusiasts with an authentic NBA experience. The Kobe Bryant Edition of NBA 2K24 graces its cover with the late legend. Updated rosters for both NBA and WNBA teams, along with historic teams, enhance the game’s authenticity. In addition to refined gameplay mechanics, NBA 2K24 introduces Mamba Moments, allowing players to experience key highlights from Kobe Bryant’s illustrious career. Furthermore, this version marks a first, enabling cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles. NBA 2K24 will be accessible to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers on both PS4 and PS5.

This month, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will also be available for both PS4 and PS5 users. The tactical RPG from Firaxis Games allows players to create a custom superhero called The Hunter and engage in turn-based battles alongside iconic Marvel characters. Featuring 13 popular superheroes such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Iron Man, the game incorporates deck-building mechanics for a more strategic play experience.
Furthermore, the PS Plus Game Catalog is expanding its Resident Evil offerings with the addition of Resident Evil 3, a remake of the original 1999 title, which will be available on PS4 and PS5. Players will assume the roles of former agent Jill Valentine and mercenary Carlos Oliveira as they navigate a zombie-infested Raccoon City, solving puzzles while battling monstrous foes.
In an interesting twist, PS Plus is also introducing Lego DC Supervillains to its catalog this month, available on PS4. This action-adventure platformer allows players to build their own supervillain while navigating a story where the Justice League has mysteriously disappeared, prompting iconic DC villains like The Joker and Harley Quinn to step in to save the day.

All titles from the PS Plus Game Catalog will be playable on both PS4 and PS5 starting March 19. Access to these games will be limited to subscribers of the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers. Notably, titles from the PlayStation Game Catalog are not permanent additions to users’ libraries and can only be played while they remain available on the service.
The four free games for March that will be offered to all PS Plus members, including those in the Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium categories, were announced in late February. These include Sifu, EA Sports F1 23, Hello Neighbor 2, and Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.
