This latest addition to the Light Phone lineup offers essential functions, including calling, texting, navigation, alarms, and more. Unlike its predecessors, which featured only basic capabilities, the Light Phone 3 is equipped with a 3.92-inch AMOLED display and operates on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4450 processor. While it maintains a black-and-white menu interface, the device enhances user experience with a 50-megapixel rear camera and 5G compatibility.

The retail price for the Light Phone 3 is set at $799 (approximately Rs. 68,000). For a limited period, the phone will be available at a promotional price of $599 (about Rs. 52,000). The company plans to start shipping the device to initial pre-order customers later this week.

Although the overall display is in black and white, photographic outputs are presented in color. It boasts a 50-megapixel rear camera, which produces 12-megapixel default images, complemented by a side-mounted two-step shutter button. The front is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.
The Light Phone 3 supports a variety of functionalities, including calls, texts, navigation, alarms, a calendar, calculator, hotspot capabilities, music playback, note-taking, podcast support, and a timer. However, it does not support third-party applications. With an IP54 rating, the device is designed to withstand dust and splashes of water. Connectivity options include 5G, dual stereo speakers, dual microphones featuring noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, it comes with a fingerprint sensor for secure authentication.
This minimalist device is powered by a 1,800mAh battery and incorporates sustainable materials, including Sony Sorplas recycled plastic for its battery cover and speaker grille.
