This new device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and features a 6.67-inch display. The Bold 5G boasts an IP64-rated construction for durability, along with a 64-megapixel rear camera. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone is set to hit the market next week through Amazon.

The introductory price of the Lava Bold 5G is set at Rs. 10,499. Consumers can choose between two configurations: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage options, available in a Sapphire Blue color variant. Sales will commence on Amazon starting April 8 at 12pm IST.

This handset operates on Android 14, with a promise of an upgrade to Android 15 and an additional two years of security updates. It features a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset is complemented by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with an option to expand virtual RAM up to 8GB using unused storage.
In terms of photography, the Lava Bold 5G is equipped with an AI-enhanced rear camera featuring a 64-megapixel Sony sensor. For self-portraits and video calls, a 16-megapixel front camera is available. The device also maintains an IP64 rating for resistance against water and dust.
