Krafton’s life-simulation game, inZOI, has achieved a remarkable sales record, surpassing one million units in just one week following its Early Access launch on Steam. This announcement was made by the studio on Friday, marking inZOI as the fastest title from Krafton to reach this significant milestone. The South Korean gaming firm envisions inZOI as a potential long-term franchise and plans to release regular updates and additional downloadable content for free leading up to the full launch.
inZOI Hits 1 Million Sales
The official sales milestone was confirmed by Krafton on April 4, exactly seven days after inZOI became available to a global audience through Early Access on Steam.
Expressing gratitude and enthusiasm for the game’s reception, Krafton CEO CH Kim stated in a press release, “We are grateful and excited to present inZOI to players around the world through Early Access. We will continue to actively communicate with players and foster inZOI as Krafton’s long-term franchise IP.”
The developers behind inZOI expressed their appreciation to the gaming community in a post on X, acknowledging the overwhelming support that contributed to the game’s success.
“It’s a number that still feels unreal to us and a milestone we could not have reached without each and every one of you. Your excitement, your creations, your feedback, your content, and your support have brought inZOI to life in ways we never could have imagined,” the team remarked.
Krafton noted that inZOI has taken the title of the fastest game from the company to achieve this level of sales success. The publisher also reported that the game topped sales charts in various regions, including North America and Asia.

Krafton attributes part of the game’s success to its “step-by-step approach” for engaging with the community before the Early Access launch, alongside a player-focused strategy that fostered trust among its user base.
“Leading up to inZOI’s release, Krafton generated interest by participating in major global gaming events, collaborating with influencers, and maintaining open lines of communication with players,” the release stated. “The global inZOI showcase and demo, in particular, generated significant buzz, while coverage from leading gaming media outlets heightened anticipation worldwide through ongoing updates.”
The company plans to continue providing free content updates for inZOI until its official launch.
Prior to its Early Access debut on March 28, inZOI was the most wishlisted game on Steam. Upon release, it quickly ascended to the top of Steam’s Global Top Sellers List, achieving this feat in just 40 minutes.
Krafton also reported that inZOI attracted 175,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, ranking it third in the Games Category. Additionally, the game’s user-generated content platform, “Canvas,” welcomed over 1.2 million players on its launch day, resulting in more than 470,000 pieces of uploaded content.
