First released on the Nintendo Switch in 2021 and later ported to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2023, Monster Hunter Rise invites players to track and hunt down colossal beasts using various weapons, tools, and traps. Successful monster hunts provide loot that enables players to craft improved weapons and armor. This installment introduces new gameplay features and monsters, enhancing the verticality of the game map. It will be accessible on both PS4 and PS5.

Football Manager 2024 stands apart from the FIFA series, offering dedicated football enthusiasts a chance to delve into the complex realm of football management. This long-standing series empowers players to oversee every facet of their club, from scouting and transfers to player development and youth team management. FM 2024 also allows for the transfer of save files from previous iterations, enabling players to continue their managerial journey seamlessly.

Another notable addition is Paradox Interactive’s Crusader Kings III, which joins the Game Catalog this month. Originally launched on PC in 2020, this grand strategy game immerses players in a medieval setting where they control a king and his heirs over centuries to establish a dynasty. Throughout the game, players can engage in warfare, diplomacy, and deceit, with religion playing a significant role that leads to holy wars and crusades. Crusader Kings III will be available exclusively on PS5.

This month’s Game Catalog heavily favors fans of strategy games, with Anno 1800 also making its way to PS Plus. Set during the Industrial Revolution, this city-building real-time strategy game emphasizes trade and production, allowing players to meticulously design their city. Anno 1800 supports solo play as well as online PvP and co-op modes and will be available on PS5.
