The iQOO Neo 10R, the latest midrange gaming smartphone from iQOO, has been introduced in India, targeting budget-conscious gamers. This device features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and boasts a substantial 6,400mAh battery, catering to the needs of young gamers. However, it does not appear to serve as a direct upgrade to the higher-priced iQOO Neo 9 Pro. There are indications that iQOO may soon unveil a successor to the Neo 9 Pro, potentially named the iQOO Neo 10, which seems to be a rebranded version from their lineup in China.
iQOO Neo 10 Specifications (Anticipated)
A recent listing on Geekbench (via 91Mobiles) suggests that the iQOO Neo 10 may be equipped with Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The specifications reveal an octa-core processor, with a prime core operating at 3.21GHz, along with three additional cores clocked at 3.1GHz, indicating the integration of this latest chipset.
The benchmark report, released on a Thursday, identifies the phone with the model name ‘vivo I2405’, a designation that had appeared recently on another certification site. This model is shown to have 12GB of RAM and is pre-installed with Android 15. Performance scores highlight a single-core result of 2,093 and a multi-core tally of 6,836, which compares favorably to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 tested in our reviews, which scored 1,927 and 5,047 respectively.
There is also a possibility that this model could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, which was launched just days ago in China. This phone is notable for being one of the first to incorporate Qualcomm’s latest processor and may eventually be marketed globally under the name iQOO Neo 10 Pro Plus.
The iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It utilizes the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and offers configurations with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Current offerings in China include the device running OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. Camera capabilities include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, in addition to a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Powering all these features is a robust 7,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging.
