The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQoo is poised to unveil its new flagship device, the iQoo 12, succeeding the iQoo 11, which debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 59,999. The iQoo 12 is scheduled for launch in India on December 12. To ramp up interest among potential buyers, iQoo has introduced a Priority Pass that provides early access to the sale, among other benefits.
The Priority Pass can be secured from December 5 to December 7, 2023, through pre-orders on Amazon or iQoo.com. The company states that all customers who pre-book the iQoo 12 will receive the advantages associated with the Priority Pass, although the quantity is limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. A refundable fee of Rs. 999 is required for pre-booking, which will be deducted from the final payment.
This Priority Pass includes several perks, with more details to be revealed on launch day. Notably, it grants early access to the iQoo 12, 24 hours ahead of the official sale. Continuing its existing promotion from the iQoo 11 5G, iQoo is also offering complimentary Vivo TWS earbuds, valued at Rs. 2,999, for those who obtain a Priority Pass. Additionally, customers with a Priority Pass will be eligible for other launch offers that will be disclosed on December 12.
The iQoo 12 is gearing up to be a compelling smartphone within its anticipated price range, featuring numerous enhancements compared to its predecessor. This year’s model boasts the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an upgraded camera system comprising a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, supporting a 144Hz refresh rate and achieving a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. It also supports 120W charging through iQoo’s FlashCharge technology.
The iQoo 12 was launched in China on November 7, alongside the iQoo 12 Pro. The pricing for the base model of the iQoo 12 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the iQoo 12 Pro begins at CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 57,000) for its base 16GB + 256GB variant.
