Notably, several dummy models of the iPhone 17 Air have been revealed, providing insight into its design features. The images indicate a slender profile with a flat frame, and it is believed that the iPhone 17 Air will take the place of the Plus variant in Apple’s new lineup.

The dummy model of the iPhone 17 Air was shared by tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial), showcasing design components that closely resemble earlier renders. The device appears to have a streamlined silhouette and flat edges. On the back, a broad pill-shaped camera bar, akin to those on Google’s Pixel models, displays a single camera sensor positioned on the left side.
This dummy unit of the iPhone 17 Air includes several buttons, such as an Action button, a power button, and volume controls. While it is anticipated that the device will feature a Camera Control button, this specific button is not visible in the current dummy model.
The iPhone 17 Air is set to be introduced within Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup this autumn, with reported dimensions of 9.5mm thick including the camera bump; the thickness without the rear camera bar is believed to be approximately 5.5mm. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it may come equipped with a 24-megapixel front-facing camera and a 48-megapixel single rear camera.
