In a recent blog post, Instagram detailed the introduction of new fonts, text animations, and effects for Instagram Reels and stories. To utilize these features, users need to access the text tool and tap on the text button, where they can explore the available fonts. After selecting a font, additional modifications can be made by choosing effects or animations.
These new fonts are also applicable to stories and photo carousels. Furthermore, Instagram has added the ability for users to incorporate layered images using stickers in these formats. To utilize this feature, users can choose an image from their device’s media library and then tap on the text button. A gallery button will appear at the top-right corner of the screen, enabling the selection of extra images for layering.
Moreover, users can alter the shape of the stickers, transforming them from circular to rectangular or even into unconventional shapes such as hearts or stars with a simple tap.
