Infinix has announced important specifications for its forthcoming Note 50X 5G, set to feature Android 15-based XOS 15 and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. Ahead of its launch in India on March 27, the company has also disclosed the device’s pricing and color options, along with its IP64-rated dust and splash-resistant design. This is a notable upgrade from the Infinix Note 40X 5G, which received an IP53 rating when it debuted in India back in August 2024.
Infinix Note 50X 5G India Launch
The Infinix Note 50X 5G is confirmed to feature an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes, as stated on the official microsite. In addition, the device will come with a MIL-STD 810H certification, ensuring military-grade durability.
In a post on X, the company revealed that the smartphone will be available in three colors: Enchanted Purple, Sea Breeze Green, and Titanium Grey. The pricing for the handset is set to be under Rs. 12,000 in India, with purchase options through Flipkart upon its launch on March 27.
The device will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, designed to offer seamless 90fps gaming performance. Additionally, it will feature a dedicated Game Mode for enhanced gaming experiences. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor at the rear.
Powering the Infinix Note 50X 5G will be a robust “SolidCore” 5,500mAh battery, which supports 45W wired fast charging. The operating system will be Android 15, complemented by the XOS 15 interface. Users can expect customizable icons and various AI features, including AIGC Portrait Mode, AI Writing Assistant, AI Note, Folax AI voice assistant, and a Dynamic Bar functionality.
Meanwhile, the company recently introduced the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ in selected global markets, which features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate SoC, a 5,200mAh battery, and supports both 100W wired and wireless charging. The timelines for the India release of this model remain unconfirmed.
