The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is set to make its debut in India shortly, as confirmed by the company. The Chinese technology brand has disclosed several significant specifications for the upcoming device. Positioned as the 5G variant of the recently unveiled Hot 60i, this new smartphone will be available in four distinct color options through Flipkart and the company’s own website. In a notable change, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G will utilize a MediaTek Dimensity processor, contrasting with the MediaTek Helio chip used in the 4G model.

Transsion, the parent company of Infinix, has announced that the Infinix Hot 60i 5G will launch soon in India, with sales occurring via Flipkart and the official site. Four color choices have been confirmed for the model: Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red. Promotional visuals indicate that the design of the new handset departs from that of the Infinix Hot 60i, which was introduced in Bangladesh earlier in June.
Initially, the Infinix Hot 60i was priced at BDT 13,999 in Bangladesh (approximately Rs. 10,000) for the entry-level model featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The forthcoming Hot 60i 5G is anticipated to have a similar price point, possibly slightly higher than that of its 4G predecessor.
This new device boasts a horizontal camera module incorporating a dual rear camera arrangement. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is set to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor on its back, complemented by dual-LED flash, HDR capabilities, and panorama modes. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC and equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery, a first in its price range according to the company. Additionally, it carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will also feature a range of artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements, including Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Extender, AI call translation, AI Wallpaper creation, and AI image generation functionalities.
For perspective, the standard Infinix Hot 60i, which supports 4G connectivity, is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 processor. It offers configurations of up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of storage. The device sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,460 pixels), alongside a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 396ppi, and peak brightness of 800 nits. Additionally, it houses a 5,160mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
