The Infinix GT 30 5G+ is set to make its debut in India today, August 8. This new device will expand Infinix’s lineup, joining the previously launched Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G, which was introduced in June. Leading up to the launch, the smartphone’s manufacturer, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, has been actively sharing various teasers that hint at its features. The Infinix GT 30 5G+ will showcase a Cyber Mecha 2.0 design, which includes customizable Mecha lights on the back. It will also feature customizable shoulder triggers, similar to those found on the Pro model.

Here’s an overview of what to expect from the Infinix GT 30 5G+ ahead of its launch today at 12 PM IST.

Expected Price and Availability in India

As of now, the official pricing for the Infinix GT 30 5G+ remains unspecified. However, it is anticipated that this model will be priced lower than the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G, which starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Consequently, the Infinix GT 30 5G+ may be available for under Rs. 20,000 in India.

Once launched, this device is expected to be available for purchase via Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has already set up a dedicated microsite to support the launch.

Expected Features and Specifications

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ is confirmed to boast a 1.5K 10-bit AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This panel will achieve a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The standard model will also showcase the distinctive Cyber Mecha 2.0 design seen on the GT 30 Pro 5G, complete with customizable Mecha lights on the back featuring various patterns like Breath, Meteor, and Rhythm.

For an enhanced gaming experience, the GT 30 5G+ will incorporate customizable shoulder triggers, which can be utilized for various functions such as in-game commands, camera operation, quick application access, and video playback.

Under the hood, the smartphone is set to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC—a 4nm processor supported by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM (including virtual expansion) and up to 256GB of internal storage. The chipset is reported to achieve an AnTuTu score exceeding 7,79,000 and can deliver performance up to 90fps in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ will also include several AI features, which the brand has previewed, such as an AI Call Assistant, AI Writing Assistant, Folax voice assistant, and Google’s Circle to Search functionality.

In terms of camera capabilities, the device will feature a dual rear camera system consisting of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, it will feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera perfect for selfies, with both the front and rear cameras supporting 4K video recording.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery, which will support bypass charging and reverse wired charging options.
