On April 17, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will launch on PlayStation 5, as announced by Bethesda in a detailed promotional video featuring actors Troy Baker and Nolan North. In the video, Baker takes on the role of Indiana Jones while North, known for his portrayal of Nathan Drake in the “Uncharted” series, joins him in an adventurous narrative.
Indiana Jones Set for PS5 Debut in April
The game will be available in a Standard Edition and a Premium Edition, the latter of which includes early access starting April 15, alongside extras such as “The Order of Giants” DLC, a Temple of Doom outfit, a digital artbook, and the pre-order bonus featuring “The Last Crusade” pack.
A Collector’s Edition will also be offered for the PS5 version, which includes an 11-inch globe themed after “The Great Circle,” a plane magnet, an adventure journal, an Allmaker relic replica, and a Jumbo SteelBook display case. This deluxe bundle also provides the Premium Edition disc and its accompanying benefits.
The newly released PS5 date trailer, teased by Bethesda a day earlier, showcases Baker and North, with North acknowledging Baker’s new role in the franchise. North has been pivotal in bringing Nathan Drake to life through voice acting and motion capture.
Notably, the “Uncharted” series itself draws influence from the iconic “Indiana Jones” films, and “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” integrates elements from this renowned adventure gameplay. Both actors previously collaborated on “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” where Baker portrayed Sam Drake, Nathan’s brother.
This action-adventure game presents an original story for Indiana Jones, set against the backdrop of events between “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” Players will navigate various challenges as they assume the role of Indiana Jones, utilizing his signature whip to thwart rival factions in pursuit of a potent force linked to global sites forming a perfect circle on a map.
The game previously debuted on PC and Xbox Series S/X on December 9, 2024, and will be available on PS5 starting on April 15.
