The Huawei Pura 80 series is set to launch in China next week, with the company currently accepting pre-reservations for both the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and the Huawei Pura 80 Pro+. As the unveiling date approaches, details about the rear design of the new devices have been released.
The official announcement is scheduled for June 11, and pre-reservations are available via Vmall, running until noon local time on the same day.
The design of the Pura 80 Pro+ features a textured pattern within the camera island, occupying nearly the entire upper half of the back panel and displaying curved edges. The handset’s power button and volume controls are located on the left side.
Both models in the Huawei Pura 80 series will run on HarmonyOS 5.0 and are expected to include the Kirin 9020 processor. Reports suggest that at least one of the models may feature a quad-camera setup, potentially consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a variable aperture, a secondary 50-megapixel sensor with dual focal lengths, a 40-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel color temperature sensor.
The Pura 80 series represents the next generation in Huawei’s smartphone offerings, following the Pura 70 lineup that debuted in April of last year.
