The Honor X9c 5G is set to make its debut in India later this month, with the company announcing details regarding its launch date, color options, and key specifications. The smartphone will feature a main rear camera with 108 megapixels, a substantial 6,600mAh battery, and a 1.5K curved AMOLED display. It will be exclusively available for purchase on Amazon in the Indian market. This model is expected to succeed the Honor X9b and was first launched in global markets in November 2024.
Launch and Availability of Honor X9c 5G in India
Honor has confirmed that the X9c 5G will be officially launched in India on July 7. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase through Amazon starting July 12. Consumers will have the option to choose between two colors: Jade Cyan and Titanium Black. The device will be offered in a configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Key Features of the Honor X9c 5G India Variant
The Honor X9c 5G will share many similarities with its global version, being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It will come pre-installed with MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, and will include the Magic Portal feature for enhanced cross-app functionality. AI-assisted features such as AI Motion Sensing and AI Erase will also be included in the device.
In terms of camera specifications, the smartphone is equipped with a primary rear sensor of 108 megapixels, featuring an f/1.7 aperture, alongside support for up to 3x lossless zoom and stabilization through both optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display boasts a 1.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate, meeting TÜV Rheinland standards for Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light certifications.
The Amazon microsite for the Indian release of the Honor X9c 5G indicates that the device will be certified for drop resistance by SGS and will have an IP65M rating, ensuring dust and 360-degree water resistance. The smartphone measures 7.98mm in thickness and weighs 189 grams. To power its features, it will be equipped with a silicon-carbon battery of 6600mAh capacity, supporting 66W wired fast charging.
