On Tuesday, Honor unveiled its latest smartphone, the Honor Power, in China. This device is notable for its impressive 8,000mAh battery, which is capable of 66W wired charging. The Honor Power is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and offers configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. A dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, enhances its photography capabilities. Additionally, it includes Honor’s self-developed C1+ communication chip, designed to ensure stable connectivity even in areas with weak network signals. The device’s premium memory option supports Beidou’s two-way satellite text messaging feature.

Pricing Information

The Honor Power is priced starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the entry-level model featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB variants are available for CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 25,000) and CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 30,000), respectively. Customers can choose from three color options: Desert Gold, Phantom Night Black, and Snow White. The smartphone is currently available for purchase in China.

Technical Specifications

The Honor Power operates on MagicOS 9.0, which is based on Android 15. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,224×2,700 pixels, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR. The screen includes Oasis eye protection technology, showcasing 3840Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. It is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and an Adreno 720 GPU, with options for up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

For photography, the Honor Power houses a dual rear camera arrangement, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.95 aperture and optical image stabilization, alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels with an f/2.45 aperture, ideal for selfies and video conferencing.

Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, OTG, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, complemented by a USB Type-C port. For sensors, the device incorporates an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, IR sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor, alongside an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure authentication. Notably, it is designed with Honor’s Taichi shock-absorbing structure 2.0 to provide protection against drops.

Honor promotes the Honor Power as having a 360-degree waterproof build, claiming it can withstand immersion in water, be soaked, and even washed. The phone includes an AI rain touch feature that ensures accurate response to touch inputs during rainy conditions. The C1+ communication chip enhances connectivity in challenging environments like garages, elevators, and buildings. The premier variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage also supports SMS functionality via Beidou’s satellite network.

With an 8,000mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging, the Honor Power is designed for long-lasting performance, boasting a lifespan of six years. It reportedly allows for up to 25 hours of video playback on a single charge and maintains 16.5 hours of standby time even with just 2% battery remaining. The smartphone measures 163×76.7×7.98mm and weighs approximately 209 grams.
