Honor has officially announced the launch date for its new 400 series smartphones, the successors to the 300 lineup. Scheduled to be unveiled in London later this month, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has teased details regarding the design and specifications of the Honor 400 models. Notably, both devices will feature a 200-megapixel rear camera.
The Honor 400 is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro variant will utilize the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, both smartphones are expected to come equipped with a robust 5,300mAh battery.
The launch event for the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will take place on May 22 at 4 PM BST (8:30 PM IST) in London. Pre-registrations for the devices are currently open in the UK, and the countdown on Honor’s UK website suggests that the smartphones will be available for purchase shortly after their debut.
Honor has also released a teaser video showcasing the design of the new lineup. The standard Honor 400 appears to have dual rear cameras, while the Honor 400 Pro is expected to feature a triple camera setup. Both models are confirmed to incorporate advanced AI-powered camera technology along with the 200-megapixel sensor.
