On Thursday, Honor introduced the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro in select international markets. The standard Honor 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the more advanced Honor 400 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The base model has a 6.55-inch display, compared to the Pro model’s larger 6.7-inch screen. Both devices boast impressive 200-megapixel rear camera systems and incorporate various AI-driven functionalities. They are equipped with 5,300mAh batteries that support fast charging up to 100W. Notably, the Pro version is rated IP68 + IP69 for dust and water resistance.
Pricing Information for Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro
The Honor 400 Pro is priced at GBP 699 (approximately Rs. 80,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. This model is available in Lunar Grey, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black color options.
In contrast, the Honor 400 starts at GBP 399 (around Rs. 48,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option and goes up to GBP 449 (around Rs. 51,000) for the 8GB RAM + 512GB variant. This model comes in Desert Gold, Meteor Silver, and Midnight Black.
Both smartphones are now available for purchase in select global markets, with the official unveiling of the Honor 400 series scheduled for May 28 in China at 7:30 PM (5:00 PM IST).

The dual SIM (Nano+eSIM) Honor 400 Pro operates on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 and is equipped with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,280×2,800 pixels) display. The screen features a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, supports a DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and is capable of achieving a peak brightness of 5,000 nits with a pixel density of 460ppi. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with an Adreno 750 GPU, offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Honor 400 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear camera system also includes a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and 3X optical zoom, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Honor 400 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, Galileo, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, along with OTG capabilities. Onboard sensors comprise an ambient light sensor, compass, fingerprint sensor, gravity sensor, IR control, and proximity sensor. The device is certified for IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance and features dual stereo speakers.
Powering the Honor 400 Pro is a 5,300mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The wired charging technology is said to charge the battery from 0% to 51% in just 15 minutes, while the wireless charging can achieve 33% in the same timeframe. Honor claims that the battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity after four years of usage.

The Honor 400 series is equipped with a range of AI-driven imaging capabilities, including HD Moving Photo, Moving Photo Collage, AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, and AI Portrait Snap, among others. Additionally, it features an “Image to Video” functionality powered by Google Cloud, enabling users to transform still images into short videos. The lineup also incorporates Google’s Gemini AI assistant.
