Warner Bros. Games announced last month the highly anticipated launch of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, set to hit the market on September 3. Alongside this announcement, the publisher unveiled a new trailer, providing a glimpse into the gameplay experience of this title set in the Wizarding World. Warner Bros. also outlined the game’s pre-order options and its staggered release schedule, highlighting that the digital version will be available in September, with the physical edition following in November.
Gameplay Trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is being developed by Unbroken Studios and will include both a single-player career mode and an online competitive mode. The game is set to feature the Quidditch World Cup. The newly released “Welcome Students” gameplay trailer showcases fast-paced Quidditch matches, allowing players to assume the roles of Beaters, Chasers, Keepers, or Seekers. Additionally, pre-order details have been confirmed, with the game being available in both Standard and Deluxe editions.
The trailer highlights exhilarating Quidditch gameplay along with expansive arenas and familiar characters from the Wizarding World, such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy. Players will also have the option to create their own custom characters.
Pre-order Information for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions
The release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will follow a staggered timeline. The digital versions of both the Standard and Deluxe editions are set for release on September 3, while the physical Deluxe edition will be available starting November 8 on various platforms, including PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox One. A version for the Nintendo Switch is scheduled to debut during the 2024 holiday season. The Deluxe edition comes with exclusive rewards, including House packs for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, along with in-game currency.
Players can currently pre-order the game across all platforms, with a special Firebolt Supreme broom skin offered as a pre-order incentive. Furthermore, the Standard edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is set to be accessible as a PlayStation Plus launch title, free of charge to PS Plus members, from September 3 to September 30. Once the game is added to a library, it will remain playable for as long as players maintain an active PS Plus subscription.
