Google’s AI tool, Audio Overviews, which converts research into podcast-style dialogues within the NotebookLM application, is now available in over 50 languages. This update includes popular languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hindi, Turkish, Korean, and Chinese.
To utilize this feature in a different language, users can navigate to the NotebookLM platform, access their settings in the upper-right corner, and select the Output Language option. A comprehensive list of available languages will facilitate the selection, enabling users to receive responses and listen to Audio Overviews in their preferred language.
Google noted that this is just the initial phase of the feature, with plans for ongoing development and enhancement informed by user feedback. Since its inception, Audio Overviews have reached over 200 countries, introducing a variety of new functionalities, allowing users to effectively engage with AI conversation hosts.
Moreover, Google has integrated Audio Overviews into its Gemini AI chatbot and Google Docs, broadening the scope of written content that can be transformed into AI-generated podcasts.
