In the lead-up to the unveiling of its new Pixel series, Google faces potential delays due to reported supply chain issues. An article from WinFuture states that the launch of several devices, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a, might be postponed until October 9, 2025.
Consequently, after the Made by Google event on August 20th, consumers may find only the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL available for purchase. According to WinFuture, shipping of these devices might commence shortly after the event, with in-store availability expected on August 28th. Reports suggest that Google does not plan to implement significant price adjustments to its smartphone range.
If the latest rumors hold true, features of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may include full dust-proof capabilities and a marginally larger outer display, made possible by a reduced space between the cover screen and hinge. There’s less information available regarding the anticipated wearables, though speculation suggests the Pixel Buds 2a could be released in a new “iris” color variant, while the Pixel Watch 4 might feature a sturdier design.
Additionally, Google appears to be planning enhancements for its existing Pixel lineup, which may include the addition of a third camera on the standard Pixel 10 and the implementation of wireless Qi2 charging for all new models.
