Recent updates from Google have clarified usage limitations associated with the Gemini tool across its different subscription tiers. The company’s Help Center article, titled “Gemini Apps limits & upgrades for Google AI subscribers,” has been revised to provide clear details.

The previous ambiguous language regarding access levels has been replaced. For instance, users with a free account can now expect to submit up to five prompts daily using Gemini 2.5 Pro. Those on the AI Pro plan are allotted 100 prompts, while AI Ultra subscribers can submit 500 prompts each day.

Additionally, free accounts are limited to five Deep Research reports and the creation of 100 images per day. Should users find the need to produce over 100 AI-generated images in a single day, they can consider upgrading to either the Pro or Ultra accounts, which permit the generation of up to 1,000 images. For a comprehensive breakdown of the limits, access the full information here.
