Demand for Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series appears to be soaring, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra leading in sales. According to a report from Hana Securities, a South Korean financial services firm, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has outpaced its counterparts, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, despite its higher price tag. In total, Samsung has sold 9.16 million units across all three models, representing nearly half of its overall smartphone sales.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Sales Figures
The financial report indicates that 5.08 million units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra have been sold. In contrast, the conventional Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have estimated sales of 2.41 million and 1.67 million units, respectively. Combined, these two models account for 4.08 million units, which is a million units less than the sales of the Galaxy S25 Ultra alone.
This emerging trend points to a clear preference for the Galaxy S25 Ultra among consumers, who are inclined to invest in the premium offering despite its heftier price point. In India, the starting price for the model is set at Rs. 1,29,999, while in the United States, it retails for $1,299 for the base variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Since the smartphones were unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January, their sales have totaled 9.16 million units within just over three months. In March 2025, Samsung’s total smartphone sales reached 20.29 million units, marking a five percent increase from February. However, this still reflects a two percent decline year-on-year compared to the previous year.
