With December approaching, PlayStation Plus has revealed its lineup of complimentary games for this month. Beginning Tuesday, December 5, subscribers will gain access to three free titles: the open-world Lego racing game Lego 2K Drive, the cleaning simulation game Powerwash Simulator, and the indie exploration title Sable. Available to all PS Plus members across the Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium plans, the games can be added to users’ libraries until Monday, January 1, provided they maintain an active subscription.
On Wednesday, PlayStation unveiled this month’s offerings on its blog, encouraging members to seize last month’s free titles. PS Plus games for November, which include Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and Aliens Fireteam Elite, must be added to libraries by December 4.
Lego 2K Drive | PS4, PS5
Lego 2K Drive, released in May, invites players into BrickLandia, an expansive open-world environment designed entirely from Lego elements. Staying true to its Lego heritage, all structures within the game can be destroyed. Players can explore diverse map sections and engage in various races. The title includes a story mode as well as numerous mini-games and challenges. Customization is key, allowing players to build vehicles using over 1,000 unique Lego pieces.
The game features transforming vehicles, similar to Ubisoft’s The Crew, enabling cars to morph into boats as players navigate water sections. Designed with social play in mind, Lego 2K Drive supports cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, with options for two-player split-screen and six-player online matches.
Powerwash Simulator | PS4, PS5
Initially launched on PC and Xbox last year, Powerwash Simulator by developer FuturLab expanded to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation early this year. Now, this popular cleaning simulator is joining PS Plus. Players assume the role of a power washing business owner, arming themselves with a power washer and an assortment of nozzles to tackle dirt and grime.
As they take on cleaning tasks that range from mundane residential jobs to complex park clean-ups, players find that patience is essential. The satisfaction of watching dirt wash away creates a compelling experience, leading players to upgrade their equipment and expand their cleaning arsenal—a fun gift for those who take pleasure in cleanliness.
Sable | PS5
Developed by the indie duo Shedworks, Sable is an exploration game that boasts a unique art style. First made available on PC and Xbox in 2021, Sable arrived on PS5 last year, guiding players through a loosely structured narrative. While the game offers minimal storytelling, it focuses heavily on environmental interaction and characters.
Combat is absent, shifting the emphasis to puzzle-solving, exploration, and traversal. Players navigate the game’s world on a hoverbike, uncovering clues about an ancient civilization. Engaging in exploration and quests rewards players with upgrades for their hoverbikes, enhancing the gameplay experience.
Earlier this month, PlayStation also announced new titles arriving in its Game Catalog, accessible to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers. Notable additions include the fantasy RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, along with Teardown, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition, Superliminal, and more. Teardown launched on November 15 as part of the service.
In India, PlayStation Plus subscriptions begin at Rs. 499 per month for the Essential tier, Rs. 749 for the Extra plan, and Rs. 849 for the Deluxe tier. Annual subscriptions are available for Rs. 3,949, Rs. 6,699, and Rs. 7,599, respectively.
