Sony has announced the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of August. This month, players will have access to an action-adventure game, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the survival horror title Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, and the action-RPG platformer Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. These three titles will be available for all PS Plus members, including those on Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium tiers, starting from August 6.

The official announcement of the monthly PS Plus games was made via the PlayStation Blog this Wednesday. These games will remain available until September 2. Subscribers can add these titles to their game libraries beginning August 6 and will be able to play them as long as their PS Plus membership is active.

The previously available PS Plus games for July, including Borderlands 3, NHL 24, and Among Us, will be accessible until August 6. Here’s a detailed look at this month’s lineup:

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

With Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws slated for release on August 30, players can immerse themselves in the Lego universe with Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga prior to that. Developed by Traveller’s Tales, this game encompasses the story arcs from all nine films of the Skywalker Saga, spanning the original trilogy, the prequels, and the latest sequels.

Launched in 2022, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga offers an expansive experience, featuring iconic scenes from the films. Players can engage in lightsaber battles, blaster shootouts, and aerial skirmishes, all while playing as beloved characters from the franchise. This highly regarded title will be available for free to PS4 and PS5 users starting August 6.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

The renowned Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise continues with its ninth main entry, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, joining PS Plus this month. This installment sets players in the midst of the eerie Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex shopping mall, where they assume the role of Gregory.

As Gregory, players must navigate the horrors of the mall and survive until dawn. The game introduces free-roam gameplay elements, and in a twist, Freddy Fazbear himself assists players in combating the other threatening animatronics. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be available for both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is an engaging fantasy action-RPG platformer that unfolds the narrative of Lily, a priestess in the devastated kingdom of Land’s End, endlessly drenched by rain. Players control Lily as they traverse various environments, including dark caves and rain-soaked woods, battling against undead adversaries.

The game emphasizes 2D platforming elements, intertwining combat and puzzle-solving mechanics. Players can summon purified spirits to support them in battles, uncovering new abilities as they progress and collect additional spirits to enhance their arsenal. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights will be accessible on PS4 and will be playable on PS5 through backward compatibility.

Additionally, last month, Sony unveiled the games added to the PS Plus Game Catalog for July, featuring notable titles like Remnant 2, Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion, and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, among others. The PS Plus Game Catalog is available for subscribers on the Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers.
