Membership in Xbox Game Pass is currently advantageous, with several high-profile titles recently making their debut on the service, including Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Next week, players can expect to see one of 2024’s top-rated games added to Game Pass, as Microsoft reveals the second wave of titles scheduled for release in late May and early June. Key additions feature Atlus’ praised RPG Metaphor ReFantazio, along with Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.
Upcoming Xbox Game Pass Titles
Metaphor ReFantazio, recognized as a Game of the Year nominee at The Game Awards 2024, is set to join Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on May 29. This turn-based RPG comes from the creators of the Persona series, earning accolades for its captivating narrative, unique artistic style, and intricate gameplay mechanics.
Additionally, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, which was released last year for PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch, will make its way to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass beginning May 22.
The new titles to join Game Pass this month also include three day-one launches. Players can look forward to the strategy game Monster Train 2, the casual simulation Spray Paint Simulator, and the adventure game To a T, which will be available on May 21, May 28, and May 29, respectively.

- Spray Paint Simulator (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass – May 29)
- Crypt Custodian (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard – June 3)

Alongside new titles, Microsoft has revealed that 15 games will receive Xbox Cloud Gaming support on May 23. Additionally, various DLCs, updates, and benefits will be available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
The company has also listed games departing from the service on May 31, including Cassette Beasts, Firework, Humanity, Remnant 2, and Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer.
Retro Classics collection will be available to Game Pass members

Introduction of Retro Classics
On Wednesday, Microsoft unveiled Retro Classics, a new collection featuring over 50 timeless Activision games from the 1980s and ’90s. This collaboration with Antstream Arcade is set to be available to Game Pass members worldwide starting May 21.
Part of the Xbox May Update, Retro Classics will showcase well-known titles such as Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall!
“This initiative reflects our commitment to game preservation and backwards compatibility, enabling players to enjoy many classic games on modern devices,” Microsoft stated in an Xbox Wire post released on Wednesday.
Retro Classics will be accessible on various platforms including PC, Xbox, LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Meta Quest headsets through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Game Pass members can find and install the Retro Classics app on Xbox consoles or through the Xbox app on PC. Microsoft has also announced plans to expand the library of classic games to include over 100 titles from Activision and Blizzard over time.
