In recent news, Activision released the Season 02 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which introduced the Grind map—a skatepark-inspired setting from Black Ops 2. This map featured branding from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series and teased the March 4 announcement, signaling that a new game could be on the horizon.
Following this update, a prominent Call of Duty news source, Charlie Intel, shared the teaser about the upcoming announcement on Bluesky. Notably, Tony Hawk himself reacted with an eyes emoji, suggesting he is aware of the anticipation surrounding the project.
Rumors of a new Tony Hawk title have circulated for some time, with the legendary skateboarder hinting at possible developments. Earlier this month, professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones mentioned in a podcast that he would be featured in an upcoming remaster of a Tony Hawk game.
If the rumors hold true, the game in question will likely be a remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, which were originally released in 2001 and 2022, respectively.
