Electronics Arts has announced that the upcoming installment in the Battlefield franchise will be unveiled this week. The company has officially confirmed that the title of the game is Battlefield 6, dispelling earlier leaks that suggested an announcement was imminent. A reveal trailer for Battlefield 6 is set to debut on July 24. Although EA has not provided extensive details regarding the game, it has previously indicated that the release is expected in the fiscal year 2026.
Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer
On Tuesday, the official Battlefield account on X (formerly Twitter) announced that the reveal trailer for Battlefield 6 will launch on Thursday. The trailer is scheduled to go live on July 24 at 8:27 PM IST. The announcement was accompanied by a brief 20-second teaser, which showcases key art featuring soldiers engaged in combat.
The description on the YouTube trailer hints at an exhilarating experience, stating, “Prepare for the ultimate all-out warfare experience in Battlefield 6.”
This new title signifies a comeback for the Battlefield series, which has been on hold following the lackluster release of Battlefield 2042 in 2021. Battlefield 6 will serve as the thirteenth main entry in the series.
Battlefield 6 Leaks and Additional Information
Last week, several creators shared images from a package sent by EA, confirming the title Battlefield 6 for the upcoming game. Reports indicated that a reveal event for the new shooter was on the horizon. One Battlefield content creator mentioned that the game would be disclosed towards the end of July as part of a three-day event.
Earlier this year, EA showcased pre-alpha gameplay footage for Battlefield 6, emphasizing its commitment to integrating player feedback from various play tests to enhance the game before its release. Last year, EA announced that the next Battlefield installment would return to a contemporary backdrop, moving away from the futuristic elements seen in Battlefield 2042.
