Apple Arcade is set to enhance its gaming catalog with the addition of five new titles this September and October, including the acclaimed indy game Balatro and the popular basketball simulation NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition. Joining these flagship games will be Food Truck Pup+, Furistas Cat Cafe+, and Smash Hit+. These fresh entries come after the recent arrivals of NFL Retro Bowl ’25, Monster Train+, and the Apple Vision Pro title Puzzle Sculpt, all of which were integrated into the subscription service on September 5.
Alongside these new titles, Apple also revealed updates for several existing Arcade games, such as Wylde Flowers, Sonic Dream Team, Outlanders 2: Second Nature, and Hello Kitty Island Adventure, among others.
Balatro+
Balatro, a viral sensation that debuted on PC and consoles earlier this year, is making its way to mobile platforms on September 26. The poker-themed roguelike deckbuilder, created by a solo developer, will be available in an ad-free version titled Balatro+ on Apple Arcade, featuring no microtransactions or upfront fees.
In Balatro, players combine poker hands using unique Joker cards with their own abilities, facing increasingly challenging Antes, each featuring a Small Blind, a Big Blind, and a Boss Blind. These elements introduce distinctive obstacles such as card debuffs, requiring players to exhibit skill, quick thinking, and a bit of luck. Balatro+ will be accessible across various Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro on its release date.

NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition
The latest entry in the popular basketball franchise, NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, will arrive on Apple Arcade on October 3. For the first time, mobile users will have the chance to experience The Neighborhood mode, alongside a new and improved Greatest Mode, which allows players to relive pivotal career moments of NBA legends. Players can also dive into the MyCareer mode or engage in online challenges against others. NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition will be accessible on Apple devices starting next month.

Food Truck Pup+
October will also introduce Food Truck Pup+, a management simulation game centered around operating a food truck. In this ad-free experience, players will start from scratch to build their crêpe empire, designing food outlets, outfits, and hiring adorable dogs to support their venture. The game features a nostalgic pixel-art aesthetic.
Furistas Cat Cafe+
Another cozy addition to the lineup is Furistas Cat Cafe+, where players can bring together charming cats and their caregivers while expanding their feline collection. Developed by Runaway Play, this game offers a unique opportunity to create a fully customizable cat café, slated for release on October 3, and is ideal for cat enthusiasts.
Smash Hit+
Joining Apple Arcade on October 3 is Smash Hit+, a rail shooter developed by indie studio Mediocre. Players will navigate through levels synced with music while shooting metal balls at destructible glass structures. The game features 50 unique rooms and 11 graphic styles, presenting players with diverse challenges.
All of the new games coming to Apple Arcade will be available to subscribers at no extra charge. The service currently offers over 200 titles, with new games added regularly. In India, Apple Arcade is priced at Rs. 99 per month and is also included in the Apple One subscription bundle.
