Amazon has unveiled plans for the ninth edition of its premier sales event, the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2025, set to take place in India and other regions. Following the tradition of prior years, the event will span two days and is exclusively available to Amazon Prime members. Shoppers can look forward to discounted prices on a variety of products, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, home appliances, fashion items, and more. Additionally, discounted rates on Amazon’s own products like Echo and Fire TV devices are anticipated.
Amazon Prime Day Sale 2025: Details
Scheduled for July, the Prime Day Sale 2025 will cater not only to customers in India but also to consumers in various other nations such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UAE, the US, and the UK, according to Amazon’s announcements.
The benefits of the sale are exclusive to Prime members, with Amazon promising attractive deals from both familiar and new sellers, alongside fast, free delivery options. Additionally, the event is expected to showcase new product launches from small and medium businesses in categories including electronics, home and kitchen, fashion and grooming, and jewellery.
Amazon highlighted that last year marked “Amazon India’s biggest Prime Day ever,” noting a significant increase in sales. Independent small and medium-sized businesses reported a 30 percent growth in sales compared to Prime Day 2023.
Over 41 crore items were delivered the same day or the next, with Amazon Prime members saving an average of Rs. 3,300 on delivery fees.
Amazon Prime Subscription Benefits and Pricing
The annual subscription fee for Amazon Prime in India is set at Rs. 1,499. Customers can also choose one-month or three-month plans for Rs. 299 and Rs. 599, respectively. The subscription includes benefits such as same-day and one-day delivery, free shipping without a minimum order, cashback deals with select cards, and early access to lightning deals.
Moreover, subscribers gain access to Amazon’s suite of services, including Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming, and Prime Reading. For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, Amazon offers Prime Lite and Prime Shopping plans at lower price points.
