Alienware Launches Powerful Desktops in India!

On Wednesday, Alienware introduced its latest Area-51 and Aurora gaming desktops powered by the newest Intel Core Ultra CPUs in India. These high-performance machines can be equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 K series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. The revamped Area-51 desktop was initially revealed in January at the CES 2025 event, coinciding with the launch of new 16-inch and 18-inch laptops from Alienware.

Pricing and Availability of Alienware Area-51 and Aurora Desktops in India

The starting price for the Alienware Area-51 desktop in India is ₹5,09,263.22, according to a press release from the company. In contrast, the entry-level configuration of the Alienware Aurora desktop is priced at approximately ₹1,92,526.44. Customers can purchase these gaming desktops through the official Dell website, Dell Exclusive Stores, and various retail partners such as Croma, Reliance Retail, and Vijay Sales. They are also accessible at select multi-brand outlets and e-commerce platforms.

The Alienware Area-51 desktop, which features the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, is priced at ₹5,20,199. Meanwhile, the Alienware Aurora desktop with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU is listed at ₹1,96,698.98.

Features of the Alienware Area-51 Desktop

The newly launched Alienware Area-51 desktop showcases a redesigned appearance along with enhanced hardware compared to its predecessors. It is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and can be paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU featuring 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Operating on Windows 11 Home, this model supports up to 32GB of DDR5 XMP RAM and includes a 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen5 SSD.

Dell claims that the latest Alienware Area-51 desktop incorporates a specially designed motherboard that effectively maintains cool temperatures with advanced heatsinking technology. It boasts an innovative airflow system featuring larger-diameter fans and extensive liquid cooling options, purportedly allowing the processors to run up to 13 percent cooler and 45 percent quieter than earlier Alienware models.

The Alienware Area-51 desktop is equipped with three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, two of which support PowerShare. Additional connectivity options include four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one of which offers Smart Power, along with two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports. For audio connections, it provides two 3.5mm jacks and an optical S/PDIF output, as well as a single 2.5G RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port.

Features of the Alienware Aurora

The 2025 Alienware Aurora model is designed to accommodate up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, with support for up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD storage. This configuration can include an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Its chassis also incorporates a 240mm liquid cooling system for the CPU and is supplemented by 120mm front and rear fans to enhance thermal management. The 2025 Aurora maintains similar connectivity options as the Area-51 model while being reported to be 55 percent smaller in volume compared to the Alienware Area-51 desktop.
