Alcatel is set to introduce its Alcatel V3 Ultra smartphone in India shortly. While the formal launch date is still under wraps, recent leaks have suggested potential pricing for the device in the region. The brand, which is operated independently by TCL Communication, has confirmed the upcoming release of the Alcatel V3 Ultra, alongside two additional models.
Alcatel to Introduce Trio of Smartphones in India
According to a report from GizmoChina, Alcatel plans to launch three smartphones in its V series in India. The Alcatel V3 Pro and Alcatel V3 Classic are expected to debut together with the Alcatel V3 Ultra, which is anticipated to be the flagship device of the collection. Reports indicate that it may be priced under Rs. 30,000.
The Alcatel V3 series is rumored to incorporate an advanced eye-care feature. Madhav Sheth, the company’s founder and tech advisor, has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Alcatel V3 Ultra, highlighting its unique display modes tailored for activities such as reading, watching videos, and scrolling. Additionally, the phone is expected to support a stylus and feature a triple rear camera setup.
Alcatel smartphones are set to be sold via Flipkart and Flipkart Minutes. The product listing on the e-commerce platform indicates that the Alcatel V3 Ultra will utilize TCL’s proprietary NXTPAPER display technology. Furthermore, Alcatel has partnered with Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, for the manufacturing of these new devices.
The Alcatel V3 Ultra is speculated to showcase a 6.8-inch display and operate on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, supported by a 5,010mAh battery. It is also expected to feature a 108-megapixel primary rear camera. Preliminary information suggests that the Alcatel V3 lineup could make its official debut on May 27 at 11 AM IST.
