TCL Communication’s Alcatel brand has officially set the launch date for its highly anticipated V3 series in India. Although the company has only confirmed the Alcatel V3 Ultra model, sources indicate that the lineup may also include the Alcatel V3 Pro and V3 Classic models. The Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the rear along with stylus support and will be available for purchase through Flipkart.
Following a series of promotional teasers, Alcatel revealed that the V3 series will be introduced on May 27 at 12 PM IST. While the brand has officially mentioned only the Alcatel V3 Ultra so far, it appears that additional models like the V3 Pro and V3 Classic are also in the pipeline.
The Alcatel V3 Ultra is being showcased with a circular rear camera module that includes three lenses and an LED flash. Additionally, the device will have stylus compatibility and will sport a flat display with a hole punch design for the front camera.
Along with sales on Flipkart, the Alcatel V3 series will feature multiple display modes tailored for activities such as reading, watching videos, and scrolling. The series will implement TCL’s proprietary NXTPAPER display technology. In line with the Make in India initiative, Alcatel has partnered with Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, for local manufacturing of the V3 series.
Alcatel V3 Ultra: Expected Price and Specifications
The Alcatel V3 Ultra is anticipated to come with a 6.8-inch display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone is rumored to house a 108-megapixel primary rear camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It may also feature a robust 5,010mAh battery with support for 33W charging.
Speculation suggests that the Alcatel V3 Ultra will be priced under Rs. 30,000 in India.
