Acer Unveils Cutting-Edge QD-OLED Gaming Monitors!

On Monday, Acer unveiled its latest series of QD-OLED gaming monitors, including the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 models. Designed specifically for the gaming community, these monitors incorporate advanced quantum dot and OLED technologies, promising enhanced color accuracy and contrast while being more energy-efficient compared to traditional LCD monitors.

Pricing and Availability of Acer Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1

The Acer Predator X27U X1 is priced at $599.99 (approximately ₹51,000) in the United States and EUR 699 (about ₹64,500) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Predator X32 X2 comes at a higher price point of $999.99 (around ₹85,000) in the US and EUR 1,199 (approximately ₹1,10,700) in the EMEA region.

Both models are now available for purchase in the United States, with plans to launch in the EMEA market starting June 2025.

Specifications of Acer Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1

The Predator X32 X2 monitor boasts a 31.5-inch UHD (3840×2160) QD-OLED display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. In contrast, the Predator X27U X1 is equipped with a 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) panel, also maintaining the same aspect ratio. Both models are stated to have a native brightness of 250 nits and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

Offering a remarkable refresh rate of 240Hz, these monitors include a Dynamic Refresh Rate feature and a response time of just 0.03 ms. Coupled with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro technology, they aim to provide smooth, distraction-free visuals that minimize blur and screen tearing.

Certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, the new Acer Predator QD-OLED gaming monitors are said to achieve 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. They also provide HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort options, making them compatible with both gaming consoles and personal computers.

Acer has designed the monitors with an ergonomic stand that enables tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, ensuring comfort during long gaming sessions. The inclusion of BlueLightShield Pro technology is intended to help reduce eye fatigue. Additionally, both models support picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture functionalities, facilitating multitasking for users.
