Acer Debuts High-Performance Copilot+ PCs at Computex

Acer unveiled its new Copilot+ PC lineup at Computex 2025 in Taiwan on Monday, showcasing three innovative laptops: the Acer Swift Go 14 AI, Swift Go 16 AI, and Swift Edge 14 AI. These devices are powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 processors, promising enhanced performance and efficiency. The Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI are marketed as thin and lightweight models, featuring a revamped Acer Multi-Control Touchpad for better user navigation. The Swift Edge 14 AI, on the other hand, boasts a striking 14-inch 3K OLED edge-to-edge glass display, complemented by a Corning Gorilla Matte Pro surface treatment for durability.

Pricing and Availability of Acer Swift Go 14 AI, Swift Go 16 AI, Swift Edge 14 AI

The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI is set to start at €1,599 (approximately Rs. 1,54,000) and will be available in a single Pearl White color starting in June across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The Swift Go 16 AI, offered in Titanium Grey, is priced at €1,299 (around Rs. 1,25,000), while the Swift Go 14 AI in Steam Blue retails for €1,199 (about Rs. 1,15,600). The rollout for these models in EMEA will commence in August and July, respectively.

Specifications of Acer Swift Go 14 AI, Swift Go 16 AI

The Acer Swift Go 14 AI Copilot+ PC is equipped with a 14-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) OLED display that features a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the Swift Go 16 AI comes with a larger 16-inch 2K (2,048 x 1,280 pixels) WUXGA+ screen. Both models meet VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 and Eyesafe 2.0 certification standards and provide complete coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. With a slim profile of 15.9mm, the laptops weigh 1.39kg and 1.6kg respectively, emphasizing their portability.

Customers have the option to upgrade the Swift Go AI Copilot+ PCs to include an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor and an Intel Core Ultra Boost NPU, offering up to 47 tera operations per second (TOPS) for computational efficiency. For enhanced graphic performance, the laptops can be outfitted with up to Intel Arc Graphics 140V. Additional specifications include up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, with I/O ports comprising two USB Type-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, an HDMI port, and a microSD card reader. Both models are outfitted with a 1080p full HD IR camera that supports Windows Hello facial recognition, alongside a privacy shutter. Other notable features include a Kensington lock, an activity indicator on the touchpad, a backlit keyboard, and a 180-degree hinge.

Equipped with a 64Wh Lithium-ion battery, both the Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI promise up to 16 hours of battery life.

Specifications of Acer Swift Edge 14 AI

The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI Copilot+ PC features a 14-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) OLED display with DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The device incorporates a Magnesium-Aluminum chassis, weighs just 0.99kg, and adheres to MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards.

This laptop can be configured with the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V chipset, which supports Intel AI Boost for up to 48 TOPS of processing power, and includes Intel Arc Graphics 140V. Users can customize it with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. For security, Acer has integrated the Microsoft Pluto crypto-processor. The device is also equipped with a 1080p FHD IR camera and dual speakers offering DTS:X Ultra audio.

Connectivity options for the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI Copilot+ PC include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, along with multiple ports: two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery is a 65Wh 3-cell Li-ion unit, providing up to 21 hours of video playback capability.

The newly introduced Copilot+ PCs feature a dedicated hotkey that activates specialized functions such as Recall and Click-to-Do, both currently in preview. Furthermore, enhancements to Windows search, Cocreator in Paint, Live Captions, and Windows Studio Effects have also been integrated into the user experience.
