This new iteration of Essential Space is reported to enhance the AI’s response time, achieving quicker results with reduced latency. The update also addresses stability and performance issues, incorporating various bug fixes alongside other enhancements.
The UK-based tech company clarified that the Essential Space update does not necessitate an OTA (over-the-air) upgrade. Instead, once connected to a Wi-Fi network, the update will be applied automatically through the Google Play store.
Additionally, Nothing has recently added Camera Capture functionality to the Essential Key, allowing users to capture important information. These images are stored within the Essential Space, rather than the traditional gallery application.
Recent reports indicate that Nothing could potentially introduce features behind a paywall or offer select AI-based functionalities within Essential Space for a subscription fee. Some users have noticed a limitation on processing per month for the feature, first introduced with the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and Phone 3a earlier this year.
