As anticipation builds for the smartphone’s launch, new reports indicate that it may feature the same front-facing camera found in its predecessor models. Additionally, a recently leaked image has provided insights into the arrangement of ports on the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Selfie Camera Insights for the Galaxy S25 Edge
A report from SammyGuru has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to come equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera. This sensor is likely identical to those in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Sources suggest that the front camera may utilize a 1/3.2-inch sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, countering earlier speculation regarding a potential 10-megapixel selfie camera for the sleek new device.
In addition to its front camera, the Galaxy S25 Edge may also inherit the 200-megapixel primary camera from its flagship sibling, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This high-performance sensor is known to include features such as 2x in-sensor zoom, optical image stabilization (OIS), and an f/1.7 aperture.
Port Configuration on the Galaxy S25 Edge
In another development, a tipster shared an image on X (formerly Twitter) that outlines the port arrangement for the upcoming device. The layout appears consistent with other models in the Galaxy S25 lineup, featuring the power button and volume controls situated along the right edge of the phone.
The device will reportedly have a USB Type-C port for charging, accompanied by a speaker grille, a microphone, and a SIM card slot on the bottom. Additionally, a second microphone will be located on the top edge.
On the rear, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a dual camera system with vertically aligned lenses and an LED flash, all housed within a pill-shaped camera module.
