On April 24, Motorola officially unveiled its Edge 60 series in the global market, featuring two new models: the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and the Motorola Edge 60. Both devices are equipped with 1.5K pOLED displays, boast triple 50-megapixel rear camera systems, and offer robust IP68 and IP69-rated constructions. The Edge 60 Pro incorporates the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme processor, whereas the Edge 60 is powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC. Each model supports up to 12GB of RAM and offers storage options reaching up to 512GB.

The pricing for the Motorola Edge 60 Pro starts at GBP 599 (approximately Rs. 68,000) in the UK for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. It is available in a variety of color options, including Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Shadow, and Pantone Sparkling Grape. The Motorola Edge 60, on the other hand, is priced at GBP 379 (around Rs. 43,000) for the same storage model and comes in Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Plum Perfect, and Pantone Shamrock hues.
The new smartphones are currently available for purchase in the UK, with additional markets expected to receive them shortly.

Both devices utilize Motorola’s Android 15-based Hello UI.
Under the hood, the Edge 60 Pro operates on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a maximum of 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, supported by a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. In contrast, the Edge 60 employs a Dimensity 7300 processor with the same RAM and storage options, but features a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
Photography capabilities in both models are facilitated by a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary shooter with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, there is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and macro capabilities, alongside a 10-megapixel telephoto lens providing 3x optical zoom, a 73mm focal length, and an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, a 50-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture is included.
The Edge 60 series adheres to IP68 + IP69 standards for dust and water resistance and meets the MIL-STD-810H US military standard for durability. Connectivity options encompass support for 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C, while both phones also feature stereo speakers equipped with Dolby Atmos technology.
Notably, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is powered by a robust 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging. In comparison, the Motorola Edge 60 is backed by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging.
