The CMF Phone 2 is anticipated to launch soon, serving as the successor to last year’s CMF Phone 1. While Nothing’s sub-brand has yet to officially announce the upcoming device, leaked images have surfaced online, hinting at its design and features. A Reddit user known as UpperPerformer6651 posted purported hands-on photos and a conceptual image that illustrate the back panel of the CMF Phone 2. These images suggest a significant upgrade from its predecessor, with the proposed triple rear camera system arranged in a triangular layout alongside the flash. In contrast, the current model is equipped with a dual camera system, which includes a 50-megapixel primary Sony sensor and a portrait sensor.

The leaked renders showcase the CMF Phone 2 in a sleek black color with a matte finish. Notably, the presence of screws on the rear panel implies the potential for interchangeable covers and proprietary accessories, similar to its predecessor. The screw placement mirrors that of the CMF Phone 1, suggesting compatibility between accessories of both generations.
