Although an official launch date has not yet been announced, leaks indicate that the device may hit the Indian market by the end of this month. The Chinese model operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and includes a dual rear camera configuration, featuring a 50-megapixel primary lens. Additionally, it is equipped with a robust 6,000mAh battery capable of supporting 80W wired fast charging.
According to a report from 91Mobiles, which cites the well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, there is an anticipated launch timeframe for the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in India. The report also includes an alleged live image of the device that reveals its rear design, indicating a square camera module, contrasting with the circular design seen in its Chinese counterpart.
The Oppo A5 Pro 5G was introduced in China last December, priced starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,300) for the model featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is expected that the Indian version will have a similar pricing structure.

The Chinese iteration of the Oppo A5 Pro 5G is built on Android 15 with ColorOS 15. It boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,412 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The specifications and features of the Indian version are expected to mirror those of the Chinese model closely.
The Oppo A5 Pro is already available in select markets worldwide, including the UK. However, the global variant presents some differences from its Chinese predecessor. Notably, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is fitted with a slightly smaller 5,800mAh battery.
