The Taiwanese technology company Acer has introduced its latest gaming laptops, the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI. These devices are powered by the newest Intel Core Ultra 200HX Series processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. The laptops feature options for both 16-inch and 18-inch displays, boasting refresh rates of up to 250Hz and peak brightness levels reaching 500 nits. For efficient cooling, they utilize 5th Generation AeroBlade 3D fans. The Neo series is also available with configurations of up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
Pricing and Availability for Acer Predator Helios Neo Series
The starting price for the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI is set at $1,899.99 (approximately Rs. 1,66,400) or EUR 1,699 (around Rs. 1,54,300). The laptop will be released in North America in April, with availability in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) following in May.
In contrast, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI begins at $2,199.99 (about Rs. 1,92,700) or EUR 1,799 (approximately Rs. 1,63,400). This model will be available in North America starting in May and in EMEA in June.
Acer has indicated that specific details regarding specifications, pricing, and availability will vary by region, and an official launch date for either model in India remains unconfirmed.

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI can be configured with either an OLED or IPS panel featuring a WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution, which supports refresh rates of up to 240Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits, further enhanced by Nvidia’s Advanced Optimus technology. On the other hand, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI offers an 18-inch mini LED WQXGA display with a refresh rate of 250Hz or an 18-inch LED WQXGA panel with refresh rates of up to 240Hz and similar peak brightness levels.
Both models come with options for Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and Core Ultra 7 255HX CPUs, alongside choices of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or RTX 5070 GPUs. They operate on Windows 11 Home and can support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM as well as 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
Acer has confirmed that the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI feature 5th Generation AeroBlade 3D fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes to enhance cooling performance. Moreover, they support advanced features like Copilot and Experience Zone 2.0, which include Acer PurifiedView 2.0, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and ProCam, along with the PredatorSense 5.0 utility app. Each laptop also comes with a complimentary three-month subscription to PC Xbox Game Pass.
