Infinix has officially introduced the Note 50 Pro+ 5G to the global market. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor and features an AMOLED display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is the latest addition to the Note 50 series, following the earlier launch of the Infinix Note 50 and Note 50 Pro in Indonesia. Moreover, Infinix is set to unveil two more 5G models in the Note 50 lineup later this year. The Note 50 Pro+ stands out with its AI capabilities and is equipped with a robust 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging as well as wireless charging.
Price of Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G
The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G is priced at $370 (approximately Rs. 32,000) in the United States. This model will be available in three variants: Enchanted Purple, Titanium Grey, and a Special Racing Edition. The latter features a design inspired by race cars, complete with tri-colour stripes and a power button that incorporates sapphire crystal.
In addition to the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro were also launched, with starting prices of $180 (around Rs. 15,000) and $210 (approximately Rs. 18,000), respectively. These models made their debut in Indonesia earlier this month, along with plans for two new 5G smartphones in the Note 50 series to be announced soon.
Specifications of Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G
The handset features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that not only supports a 144Hz refresh rate but also achieves up to 1,300 nits peak brightness. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emissions. It also comes with an innovative Bio-Active Halo AI lighting system, offering multi-colour mini-LED effects for incoming calls, notifications, and other alerts.
Under the hood, the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip. It includes a vapor chamber paired with a graphite layer for efficient thermal management, as well as an X-axis linear motor for enhanced user experience.
For photography enthusiasts, this smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 primary camera featuring optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that enables 6x lossless zoom and up to 100x ultimate zoom capabilities. Additional features include JBL dual speakers, support for NFC, and an infrared remote control. The device is also IP64 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water.
Powering the Note 50 Pro+ 5G is a substantial 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, 10W wireless charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging. In PowerReserve mode, the battery is said to provide up to 2.2 hours of talk time on just 1 percent charge.
Introducing the Infinix AI∞ Beta Plan
The launch of the Infinix Note 50 series is accompanied by the “Infinix AI∞ Beta Plan.” This initiative introduces advanced AI features, including the One-Tap Infinix AI ∞ functionality, which allows users to activate the AI assistant, Folax, by long-pressing the power button.
Folax is designed to recognize on-screen content, translate text, and facilitate cross-app voice commands for tasks like scheduling, navigation, and contact management. Users can also benefit from features such as AI Eraser, AI Cutout, AI Writing, AI Note, and AI Wallpaper Generator. Communication enhancements include Real-Time Call Translator, Call Summary, AI Auto-Answer, and dual-way Speech Enhancement.
